Detailed Program

Day 1 – Arrival in Djerba

• Welcome at Djerba airport

• Welcome drink

• Dinner and overnight at Hotel l’Arisha
  Charming traditional hotel, located in the heart of Houmt Souk souks, 10 minutes from the airport

Day 2 – Djerba • Matmata • Douz

• Breakfast at the hotel

• Departure by minibus to Matmata (ferry crossing to the mainland)

• Visit of a traditional troglodyte house

• Lunch at the troglodyte restaurant Le Marhala (traditional couscous)

• Drive to Douz

• Visit of the local souks

• Installation, swimming pool, massages, dinner and overnight at Hotel Sun Palm ★★★★

Day 3 – Douz • Ksar Ghilane • Zmella

• Breakfast at the hotel

• Delivery of quads and buggies, safety briefing

• Departure into the desert via sandy tracks and dunes

• Visit of the Ksar Ghilane Roman Fort, aperitif

• Arrival at Ksar Ghilane, a beautiful oasis in the middle of the Sahara

• Swimming in the natural hot spring

• Lunch near the spring

• Afternoon ride through the dunes

• Arrival, dinner and overnight at Zmella Camp

Day 4 – Zmella • Lake Hwithat Erreched

• Breakfast at the camp

• Ride through the Grand Erg Oriental

• Increasingly high dunes, spectacular descents and pure desert scenery

• Lunch bivouac in the middle of the desert

• Arrival at Lake Hwithat Erreched

• Swimming in the hot spring

• Aperitif, dinner and overnight in a private bivouac specially set up for the group

Day 5 – Lake Hwithat Erreched • Camp de Mars

• Breakfast at the camp

• Ride south of the lake through even bigger dunes

• Incredible dune descents and technical driving

• Lunch in the desert

• Arrival at Camp de Mars, a luxury camp in the heart of the dunes

• Aperitif, dinner and overnight at the camp

Day 6 – Camp de Mars • Douz • Djerba

• Breakfast at the camp

• Final desert tracks and dunes

• Lunch at a desert café

• Arrival in Douz – end of the raid

• Transfer back to Djerba and check-in at Hotel Meridiana ★★★★
  All-inclusive hotel with private white sand beach

• Dinner, evening and overnight at the hotel (all drinks included)

Day 7 – Relaxation in Djerba

• Free day at Hotel Meridiana** (all inclusive)

Day 8 – Departure

• Transfer to Djerba airport
